Casual London street style

Hat – Forever 21

Top & Duster coat – Boohoo

Jeans – Topshop

Trainers – Ego

Bag – c/o Apricot

I can’t believe how much my style has changed in the past year. I wouldn’t be seen dead wearing trainers. jeans and backpack last year. But styles have changed and I have of course followed. It’s now fashionable to be dressed casually in jeans, trainers with backpacks and duster coats – a very ‘London’ trend I believe. (Just spent a few minutes in Kensington and Chelsea and you’ll see what I mean)

I’m also a bit of a sheep by wanting a pair of Yeezys, it seems all of the top models and fashionistas own a pair (even little North!) Sadly I’m not made of money so thankfully Ego have developed the next best thing and I got these dupes for £20.

Now I know they aren’t loved by everyone but I love them and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

I’m loving my new casual look, literally never felt so comfortable in my life wearing this outfit and I probably made point of this about five times throughout the day. Trainers have made a comeback and have been seen on the catwalks and they even popular on the frow with models, editors and top blogger. I’m glad to see that this trend isn’t going anywhere as my trainer wish list just keeps growing – a pair of silver Nikes are at the top!

Trainers don’t have to just be added to a casual jeans/backpack combo. You can pair with a girly dress or smart suit for that smart casual look.

I love this Harper’s Bazaar article on ‘How to wear trainers the grown up way’.

To add some extra comfort to my outfit I also bought this Black quilted backpack from Apricot, which has just launched their new SS16 collection! Take a look over on Apricot to see the new collection. I particularly like Floral crochet bodycon dress.
