I never thought the day would come that I’d be seen in fitness wear…

In my 2017 Aims blog post I mentioned how I wanted to go to the gym more. Well I haven’t gone to the gym since BUT I have been going to yoga regularly and I am feeling so much better for it. I feel so much happier, more positive, more relaxed and more motivated. In the next few weeks I plan to go to the gym more (seeing as it is free in my flat!!) but it’s just so scary going alone when you don’t have a clue what you are doing…

You may have seen my post in October in collaboration with Long Tall Sally. Now Long Tall Sally has launched their SS17 Activewear Collection. In these photos I am wearing the MPG X LTS Accomplish Bra Top and MPG X LTS Splicer Fabric Mixed Leggings from the collection. I’ve been wearing these to yoga and wearing a flattering but comfortable outfit has really affected my performance. I feel so much more comfortable and more confident wearing it. Plus I feel like I don’t look like such a amateur anymore (although I totes am HA). I was worried that as it’s so tight fitting it may be totally unflattering but it’s not at all. It covers up all the lumps and bumps and the bra top has a generous bit of padding (thank god!).

I (and many of my friends and family) never thought I’d see the day that I would be wearing fitness clothes but now I totally regret not buying some sooner!

The new fitness collection is designed exclusively for women over 5’8.  Long Tall Sally surveyed their customers and found that 63% of tall women slouch, 76% experience backache whilst 48% say exercise helps with their posture. Their new #TALLERANDSTRONGER campaign features fitness videos, gym hacks, nutritional advice, motivational memes and wellness tips from British Olympian Isobel Pooley, to help tall women.

Plus these videos are great for people (like me) who are scared to go to the gym and have no idea what you’re doing! These workouts are a fantastic inspiration and can be tried in our own home, without the worrying of anyone watching you. I’m slowly learning through yoga to improve my posture and stop slouching as much and these videos are really handy to help this too.
