Party Season Inspiration | Long Tall Sally

Updated: Dec 28, 2019

It’s my favourite time of year!

I’ve been so ready for Christmas for the past few months so I’m happy that I can finally say the C word and play Christmas music without any judgement.

Christmas is my favourite time of year to eat, drink and get very merry. It’s the perfect time to catch up with friends and family and celebrate together…it’s also a great excuse to buy lots of new outfits for the party season.

So to kick off the festive season and to get yule into the Christmas spirit, I’ve teamed up with Long Tall Sally to show two of their party looks for some fashion inspiration.

You have to add a bit of sparkle to your outfit at some point throughout December, so I’ve subtly added it with this shimmer wrap top from Long Tall Sally. It’s a very flattering fit and so comfortable, I’m wearing a black top underneath as it’s a little baggy on me. It’s a top that’s easy to throw on with a plain skirt or jeans and immediately adds that party/festive style to a look.

The midi skirt can easily be dressed down with a jumper or t-shirt and trainers for day to day wear.

Embroidered Flower Dress

I am loving pairing midi/maxi style dresses with boots this winter. This dress is absolutely gorgeous and such fantastic quality. It is all-over mesh with sheer sleeves and 3D blue flower embroidery.

I’m a size 8-10 in dresses and found this dress came up big on my upper body so I would recommend going down a size, however this wasn’t something that couldn’t be helped with a belt.
