NEW OPENING: Heist Bank, Paddington
Next week I’ll be heading to Paddington for the launch of Heist Bank on 29 June.
Want beer, cocktails, Mr Whippys and bike rides along the canal in London? (probably best to do the bike ride before the cocktails)
Then you are going to love Heist Bank which is set to be London’s hottest all-day hangout. It’s located just off the canal in Paddington and will specialise in wood-fired pizza, beer and fresh flowers.
Heist Bank will be serving freshly made pizzas alongside a wide selection of local beer, wine and cocktails, perfect for quick lunches, post work drinks or weekend parties.
Heist Bank will be filled with seasonal flowers, which will all available for purchase at its in-house artisan florist from Botanique. Meanwhile, bikes stationed outside will be available to borrow for guests to explore the canal and local area. It sounds right up my street and the perfect summer hang out.
Heist Bank’s wood burning oven has been shipped from Italy and will turn out a selection of pizzas smothered in local cheeses, cured meats and seasonal toppings. There will also be a range of small plates on the menu including cheese curd and olive doughnuts alongside light, summery snacks such as watermelon with labneh and toasted seeds. If that wasn’t enough there is even a Mr Whippy ice cream machine with grown-up toppings!
Beer is a focus at Heist Bank, there will be 12 local brews on draft including Magic Rock, Beavertown and Siren, which will also be available to take out in Growlers. There will also be a large selection of cocktails available.
Continuing the floral theme, beer mats and take-out pizza boxes will be illustrated with original floral designs by young British artists.
