Little Black Dress – ChiChi Clothing
Every girl needs a LBD in her wardrobe.
After the success of my last blog post in collaboration with Chi Chi Clothing I was challenged to style a complete outfit from the brand, this time also including shoes and a bag also by Chi Chi Clothing. It was a tough choice as everything on the website is so beautiful. However I decided I wanted a little party style dress which I could wear during the festive season.
A LBD (little black dress in case you didn’t know!) is a vital part of any girls wardrobe. I probably own about 50 (not even exaggerating). I went for a basic black dress which I could brighten with pink (duh) accessories. A black dress can be styled either way, with dark accessories for that glam evening look or with bright makeup and accessories, like here, for that fun, girly style.
The dress detailing is absolutely amazing. From the mesh sleeves to the lace cuffs. The open back adds a touch of elegance to the dress and the dress is padded so there’s no need to worry about not being able to wear a bra with it. Everything on Chi Chi Clothing is so glamorous and elegant and they have such a large variety of dresses that there’s a dress for a smart casual event, prom/evening gowns, day dresses and bridesmaid dresses.
Backless dresses are my absolute favourite. There’s just something about the style which adds an extra touch of elegance and daintiness to a style.
I’ve already posted a few photos from this blog shoot on social media and people have gone mad over these Chi Chi shoes (below). Aren’t they dreamy!? I’ve been after them for ages but they were sold out on the website so I was so happy when they came back in stock.
I absolutely adore them and cannot wait to wear them at Christmas. The ankle straps are velcro so really easy to get on, the only issue if it kept getting caught to my tights!
I’m so excited for the festive season to spend time with my friends and family and drink way too many bubbles (I may have already started that!). So this outfit is going to be perfect for all the festivities. Today we booked our Christmas lunch at Bob Bob Ricard, so there will definitely be lots of fizz with those ‘Press for Champagne’ buttons!
Coat – Topshop
I’m absolutely obsessed with anything pink, especially pastels, so the bag was a great addition to the outfit for that pop of colour. Chi Chi has an amazing selection of heels, boots and handbags and I was surprised to see such a selection and also spot so many pastel coloured bags. (As you can tell, I just want to fill my wardrobe with pastel coloured everything!)
Merry Christmas Everyone!
