LFW Day 2

Day two at London Fashion Week SS16

Jacket – Rokit Vintage

Dress – c/o ASOS

Boots – Topshop

Jane Shilton bag – c/o Cellini

More ASOS suede! Burnt orange and dark green are the perfect autumn shades so what better than posting this on the first day of autumn.

Sadly I didn’t make as much as LFW as planned as I came down with flu so I managed just a couple of hours for day two before dragging myself back to bed. I originally planned to wear my all time favourite Public Desire shoes (here) but I thought I would go for the more comfortable option.

This morning was a struggle but I was glad I pulled myself out of bed to see the Jasper Conran show! The whole collection is absolutely beautiful and if I could I would have every piece in my SS16 wardrobe. The collection is filled with greens and browns with natural, earthy patterns with a few sequin shimmering pieces perfect for a summer evening. You can see a video on my Instagram (studdedkissesblog).

It left me yearning for warmer evenings, autumn has come around too soon! I appeared to blend in the sea of green with my jacket and bag, this was definitely not planned but reassured me I was ready for next season. I love my new Jane Shilton from Cellini. If the colour isn’t for you it is also available in grey or black. The bag is a soft smooth leather with a natural shine which gives it that smart and elegant look. It arrived beautifully presented in a duster bag along with a strap so it can be worn on the shoulder or across the body or carried as shown below. Cellini has a wonderful collection of handbags, suitcases and travel accessories so I highly recommend a browse.

After the Jasper Conran show and posing for a few photos, we stopped by Bill’s for brunch and many many cups of fresh mint tea to help cure this flu!

If you went, I hope you had a great London Fashion Week. Let me know what shows you went to!

Ps. Did you see me on the asos Instagram today?
