Lexus RX Winter Garden at Harvey Nichols

I recently paid a visit to the Lexus RX Winter Garden located on the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols.

Now being outside in January may seem a bit crazy, but the Lexus RX Winter Garden is full of heaters as well as warming drinks to keep you cosy so don’t worry! The Winter Garden also provides a wonderful selection of limited edition Japanese-themed cocktails and snacks, which is great because I am currently planning a trip to Tokyo so I got to have a little taste of what is to come!

The Lexus RX Winter Garden takes inspiration from the Lexus RX’s striking design (pictured below). The garden reflects the fine craftsmanship and exceptional comfort of the RX, using plants, furniture and lighting which provides a rugged outdoor look to the terrace.

We began the night with a Steam Dream drink. This is a warming mixture of Japanese Saké with Mount Gay rum, goji berry liqueur, honey syrup, lime juice and water poured into a saké flask and warmed with steam. It was absolutely delicious and kept us warm throughout the crisp January evening.

As we sipped on our Steam Dreams we also go to admire the lovely view of Knightsbridge. I can’t believe I didn’t know about the roof terrace before! It’s great to know as it’s so close to my office plus it’s a stones throw from Knightsbridge Underground Station.

During the evening we were also able to try a few of the dishes on offer and the favourite of the night had to be the Nasu Dengaku which is Sticky Miso Grilled Aubergine with Candied Walnuts. You would never of guessed you were eating aubergine!

Other delicious dishes included BBQ Pork Belly in Steamed Buns with Spicy Peanut Soy, Crunchy Rice Senbei Crisps with Avocado-Jalapeno Dip and Assorted Sushi. The Lexus RX Winter Garden has converted me, I am now a huge lover of sushi!

The Harvey Nichols Lexus RX Winter Garden Cocktail Menu is available nationwide (excluding OXO, Harvey Nichols Dublin and Beauty Bazaar, Harvey Nichols Liverpool) until 31 January 2016.

It costs £9 for alcoholic cocktails and £5 for non-alcoholic cocktails, and £12 for alcoholic cocktails and £7 for non-alcoholic drinks at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge.
