Duster Coats & Marc Jacobs

Dressing for April showers.

Sunglasses – c/o Hindsight Vintage

Marc Jacobs Watch – c/o WatchShop.com

Lipstick – NYX Liquid Suede in Stone fox

Duster coat, crop top, jeans & shoes – Topshop

I don’t normally wear all Topshop but I have been lusting after this outfit over the past few weeks and I finally bit the bullet and bought it. My bank account was not happy but I was so excited to finally add this amazing duster, bralet and peep top boots to my wardrobe! The boots were sold out in most stores so I was thrilled to get the last pair in my size in Oxford Circus. I’ll no doubt be wearing them everyday this summer.

(Tip: I always find that if something I want on Topshop online is sold out and it also says its sold out in stores, they seem to always have it in store in Oxford Circus even if the website says otherwise!)

Although the sun is out (and I can finally wear my new vintage sunglasses!!) and we’re slowly losing the layers, I’ve still gone for the ‘dark’ look with my navy jacket and grey lipstick. During the time we took these photos I think we experienced two sudden down pours within less than 10 minutes, damn April showers! This was the perfect outfit to wear for the up and down weather, even if my feet did get slightly wet these shoes are super comfortable so it was ok!

As you can tell by most of my outfit posts, I am obsessed with duster jackets. They are the perfect jacket to wear whatever the weather and can automatically smarten up an outfit. With this jacket I love how much my Marc Jacobs watch matches it!

I even matched my lipstick with my look by wearing NYX liquid suede in stone fox. To my surprise I prefer this matte liquid lipstick so much more to my Lime Crime Cement and it’s about a third of the price. It’s almost the exact same grey shade but this NYX lipstick is so smooth and not flakey unlike how some matte lipsticks go after hours of wear.

When it comes to style I don’t know anyone who changes their style as much as me. One day I may dress up in bright colours and pretend I’m a mermaid. Or wear a nice dress as though I am going to prom. Or it could be a trainers and jeans kind of day.

After spending lunch time in the Big Smoke getting a few outfit shots and lunch at Yumi Izakaya, we ventured out to the Kent seaside for the evening for chips on the beach watching the sunset and to win some minion key rings on the 2p machines.
