DIY – studs & sleeve removal!
My mum got me this jacket in Rokit and less than 24 hours after having it, I DIYed it 😀
I got the spike studs from my friend Sarah for my birthday and I had the other studs left over from my shirt DIY 🙂
I’m so happy with how this turned out!
With the help of my mum – she’s customised her clothes and my dads since she was young – we studded the collar of this mens primark shirt. I’m planning to stud another with silver spikes and covering more of the collar.
This isn’t a DIY but it’s a new vintage purchase from Oxfam Vintage shop! It’s an old M&S (St. Michael) top which reminded me of the American Apparel crops.
Remember the ugly shirt here? Here is it now and I think it looks so much better! My mum cut off the sleeves and sewed the collar down for me 🙂 You can tell the sleeves have been cut – which we planned to fix – but I thought I’d leave it in case we ruined the fabric.
Hopefully it gives it a sort of edge? sorta? hahaha!
I need to order so many more studs as I have a few more plans of things to stud!
